Therapy in the Himalayan Salt Cave
It takes place in rooms whose walls, floor and ceiling are lined with blocks of salt. Most are built of several kinds of fossil salt and sea salt. Proper ventilation is provided in the caves, and the temperature is from 18 to 23 degrees Celsius and humidity (45% -55%).
Sometimes the cave is mounted to a set of colour therapy, which has a large impact on the well-being. Sessions are held on the comfortable loungers, often accompanied by properly chosen relaxation music that helps to relax. Patients with skin problems should dress lightly to salt dust had contact with the skin.
Cave Microclimate
Microclimate in the salt cave is based on the climate occurring at the sea:
- high concentration of salts, minerals and trace elements in air
- high humidity
- an appropriate temperature
- clean air
Salt caves have the advantage over natural marine areas in that with the microclimate in the salt cave you can fully control and maintain its individual parameters at certain levels.
